Free Local History Day

FOLLOWING on from the success of last year’s Warrington Local History Day many history societies and groups are coming together once ore to share memories, pictures, maps and books etc. on Sunday, September 29.

The event will take place at Alford hall on Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3JN, from 11am-4pm and admission is free to all.

It will provide a chance to meet local historians and view displays.

Come and find out about the rich history of the area through its places and its people, through past leisure activities and the work place.

Discover your family connections to Warrington and beyond. Free parking is available at the rear of the hall.
