New school entrance given planning consent

PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for a new entrance to Bridgewater High School upper school in Broomfields Road, Appleton.
There will be two new access points, with glazed canopies, decking and alterations to the building’s façade with the exterior being rendered white.
Officers say the alterations will improve the building aesthetically and harmonise with the existing building and the site as a whole. There will be no detrimental impact on nearby homes or the street scene.
