UPDATED – POLICE have caught a sex offender from Warrington who absconded from a South Gloucester prison.
The 34-year-old absconded from HMP Leyhill yesterday (Friday) where he was serving a sentence for raping a woman in Warrington in 2009.
He was found and arrested near to Leyhill by Avon and Somerset Police and is now back in custody.
