THE A5061 Knutsford Road, Warrington is to be closed of an evening for 10 weeks in a south easterly direction to allow carriageway resurfacing to take place.
Borough council chiefs are to make a temporary order banning driving on the outward lane from September 9 between 7pm and 1am.
The length of road to be affected will be from Warrington New Bridge to the junction with Park Avenue, Latchford.
Access will be under the control of the contractor for the duration of the work.
An alternative route will be signposted, via Warrington Bridge, Mersey Street, Church Street, Farrell Street, Kingsway North, Kingsway South and Knutsford Road.
Knutsford Road will remain open to traffic in a north westerly/inbound direction
