Mindfulness training sessions at the library

1

A THIRD series of Mindfulness training courses is to start at Culcheth Library on September 16.
This follows the success of two earlier series in a dedicated well-being area set up in the library last year by the Friends of Culcheth Library.
The Friends also funded a Mindfulness training course for a group of local volunteers who were eager to learn about the benefits of Mindfulness and pass on their learning to the wider community.
The first series of six Mindfulness sessions was held In January, focusing on healthy attitudes and how they can help well-being. These to be very successful and well attended, with feedback focusing on the very friendly, open and non-judgmental ethos engendered by the session leaders.
A second series was delivered during May and June and the group is now preparing to roll out its third series.
They would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to find out more about Mindfulness and how it can help mental and physical well-being.
The sessions are free and will run on six consecutive Mondays, beginning on September 16 from 12.45 – 1pm at Culcheth Library.
