Warrington – third best place to be a jobseeker

WARRINGTON is the third most job-seeker friendly location in the UK, according to new research.
The research found that 82 per cent of Britons rely on online resources and information to secure a job.
BroadbandChoices.co.uk has created a ranking of the most job-seeker friendly locations in the UK as a result.
The index considers factors such as unemployment, available jobs online and internet speed in each city and town, highlighting the necessity of fast and stable broadband when searching for jobs online.
Crawley topped the chart, followed by Reading, Warrington and Luton.
The bottom of the chart is occupied by the capital, preceded by Southampton, Bradford and Sunderland.
Alongside the ranking, broadbandchoices.co.uk polled 1,342 Brits to find out what their most important resource was during their latest job search.
Results show that 82 per cent relied on online resources and information to secure their current position, while less than one in seven Britons turn to social media for their job hunt. Online job platforms play an important role in finding a job too, with 56 per cent of respondents having a profile on one of them.
