Car theft: police seek help from this man


POLICE at Warrington have today released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle from a garage.
Sometime between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Saturday May 25 an unknown man entered the office of a garage on Milner Street and stole the keys to a white VW Golf GTI before driving it off from the forecourt.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as they believe he may be able to assist.
PC Rob Catterall said: “I’’m keen to speak to the man in CCTV images as I believe he may hold vital information.
“If you think you recognise the man or know who he is please call the team here at Warrington on 101.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV image to get in touch.”
