SCOTTISH folk duo Craig and Charlie Reid – otherwise known as The Proclaimers – will be at Warrington’s Parr Hall next month.
Tickets go on sale today and the twins will be in town on Sunday, August 4.
It has been 32 years since the pair emerged and since then, their enduring appeal across generations has carved a niche where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide.
The emotional honesty, political fire, wit and singalong raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans around the world.
The pair have even inspired a musical, the play and film Sunshine on Leith which had its fourth UK run last year.
Following their sell-out tour across the UK last year, The Proclaimers will be going further afield this year with appearances in Reykjavik and Singapore, before touring New Zealand and Australia.
