Warrington Wolves set to celebrate rich history at Beer Festival

WARRINGTON Wolves will hold their annual Beer Festival at the Halliwell Jones Stadium celebrating the rich history of the club and the Towns brewery industry.

The Festival will take place on the 19th and 20th July on the very site where beer was brewed for years, The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

At the opening of the event three further Heart and Soul footprints will be unveiled in the South Stand, supported by Club Chairman Stuart Middleton.

There will be plenty of memories shared as Past Players take a trip down memory lane. All proceeds from this year’s festival will go towards the continuation of the Heritage Timeline underneath the south stand.

As part of the event on the Saturday the club will dedicate a special place in the south stand to thank some amazing people for their commitment and passion.

Wolves Foundation Chief Executive Neil Kelly said: “This year one special lady from our community will celebrate this special moment. Cllr Pauline Nelson has not only supported Rugby League but also been the backbone of our community for many years.

“Pauline loves rugby and especially her beloved Wolves. We hope you can join us to share many memories over some local beers or maybe a G&T.”

Tickets available online https://shop.warringtonwolves.org/413367/products/beer-festival-ticket.aspx or in the club shop.
