Emergency road closure at Appleton

AN emergency road closure will take place at New Lane, Appleton, Warrington from tomorrow (Wednesday) for two days.

The closure which will take place from 9.30am-3.30pm is to allow a Carriageway Condition Survey & Patching.

Warrington Borough Council has issued a notice for a period not exceeding 5 days, a prohibition of driving and clearway on New Lane from Lumb Brook Road to Grappenhall Lane.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

An alternative route will be via Lumb Brook Road, Grappenhall Lane and vice versa.
