Police appeal for witnesses following serious collision on Chester Road

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A56 Chester Road in Warrington on Saturday (June 22) involving a car and a motorbike.

The collision occured at around 6.40pm on 22 June when an Audi Q5 and a Honda CRB Fireblade were in collision on the A56 Chester Road at its junction with Hobb Lane in Warrington.

The rider of the motorbike, a 33-year-old man, was taken to Aintree Hospital with serious injuries. His pillion passenger, a 14-year-old boy, is believed to have minor injuries.

The driver and passenger of the car are believed to have been uninjured.
