FIREFIGHTERS at Warrington were called out twice last night to deal with out-of-control camp fires.
Shortly after 9.30pm a crew was called to Lymmhay Lane, Lymm to deal with a small camp fire.
Minutes later a crew was sent to land at Fiddler’s Ferry to deal with a large camp fire.
Earlier, two fire engines were sent to Europa Boulevard to reports of smoke coming from a house.
It turned out to be a fire started by a toaster which was out by the time the crews arrived on the scene.
A fire blanket was used to ensure the fire was properly extinguished and a ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the property.
