Wheelie bin targeted by arsonists at Latchford

A Wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire in Birch Grove, Latchford, Warrington, yesterday evening.

Shortly after 7pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire in the open in Birch Grove, Latchford.

On arrival the crew found a wheelie bin well alight.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for less than 10 minutes.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
