Medley of Music remembers bombing victims

A special Medley of Music took place in Padgate last night (Thursday) remembering victims of the Warrington and Manchester Arena bombing attacks.

Fran Sixsmith from Medley Music brought children together from schools in Warrington to perform a variety of pop, rock, ballads and musicals to a packed St. Oswald’s Catholic Church, Padgate Lane, in a unique performance.

The celebration of music and gave local children an opportunity to show off their skills. More than 100 children were present providing a moving and thrilling performance .

The six schools performing were Oakwood Avenue , New Horizons AP Academy, Cherry Tree , Woolston Community , Our Lady’s and St. Bridget’s Primary schools.

Special guests included peace campaigners Wendy and Colin Parry and Chris Bent as Medley Music and the children dedicated a moving remembrance to Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball, who were killed by a terrorist bomb attack on Warrington in 1993 and those who lost their lives at the MEN Arena attack.
