Church stages events to meet “severe financial challenges”

TWO events take place on Saturday, July 6 to help St Mary’s Church, Lymm, cope with severe financial challenges facing the church and church hall in the coming years.
From 2pm to 4.30pm there will be a vintage Crafternoon tea at Maple Lodge, off Pepper Street and at 7.30pm there will be a concert by Fionnuala’s Fa’cy at Lymm Golf Club, off Whitbarrow Road.
The Rector, the Rev Beverley Jameson said: “These are two wonderful events. The vintage crafternnon tea has highly stylish crafts taught by talented leaders. I know the afternoon tea will be spectacular. I am also looking forward to a fun evening at Lymm Golf Club, to the great music provided by a wonderful band.
“Do come along to these fabulous events, have a great time and raise funds to maintain St Mary’s church and church hall buildings”
The Crafternoon tea will have an afternoon of professional craft making with a vintage afternoon tea of cake and sandwiches.
