VIDEO: SINCE launching in 2012 Warrington’s Foodbank has now served 275,000 meals to families and children in need in the town.

The #LoveWarrington Team were joined by Volunteer Project Manager David McDonald at Warrington Foodbank who explained how the Foodbank was launched by a group of church ministers helping those in need in the town.

David spoke passionately about the people of Warrington, from those who use the service to those who volunteer and support the charity.

“Since 2012, we have issued 275,000 meals to the people in Warrington from a population of around 202,000 supported by a team of over 120 volunteers,” he said.

Based at Tanning Court, behind Riverside retail park, the Foodbank charity supports a wide variety of individuals, couples and families in Warrington.

David said, “I love to see the ultimate generosity of the people of Warrington.”
