THREE masked men burst into a convenience store at Lymm and threatened staff.
The raid was at the Co-op store at Heatley Mere and the men – all wearing balaclavas – got away with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
It is understood one was armed with a knife.
Afterwards they made off in an unknown direction.
The raid was at 10.10pm last night (Sunday). No-one is thought to have been hurt, although staff were left shaken.
Police are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 399352 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
