Wanted man had knife

POLICE had to use an Incapacitant spray to arrest a wanted man they recognised on Orford Lane, Warrington, earlier today.

The officers used the Incapacitant after a long struggle and allegedly found a knife in the man’s possession.

The man was arrested for THREE Fail to Appears at court, alleged Resist Arrest and Possession of a knife.

Earlier int he day officers stopped a van on A49 Winwick Road as the front number plate was broken.

They discovered the male was Wanted by colleagues in Hartlepool for an allegation of Harassment.
