A GROUP of 45 pupils from Birchwood High School are back home after a five-day visit to Madrid.
During the once-in-a-lifetime trip, they had three training sessions at Valdebebas – Real Madrid’s training ground – and played six games against local opposition.
They also enjoyed an afternoon sightseeing in the city centre, a visit to Parque Warner Madrid, a tour of Real Madrid’s iconic stadium, The Santiago Bernabeu and also found time to take in Real Madrid’s 2-1 home victory over Eibar.
The pupils represented the school with pride and brought home many experiences that will live long in the memory.
