New brass ensemble entertains the visually impaired

CALDO Brass, a new, five-piece brass ensemble based in Latchford, gave a concert afor Warrington Visually Impaired People at the Fairfield and Howley Project.
The group – made up of experienced brass band musicians – presented a range of classical, film music and popular music much appreciated by the audience.
Most of the music was from a programme the band is currently building up to use in local concerts and other performances.
The band is available to perform a range of concerts, fetes, weddings, funerals and other events. Music can be tailored to suit and they are able to accept daytime bookings which gives it a unique level of flexibility. For more information visit the web site at www.caldobrass.com
WVIP’s Howard Isherman said: “This was a real joy for our members, being treated to a wonderful tuneful afternoon.
