CHESHIRE based band the Doves have announced a special gig at Warrington’s Parr Hall as a warm-up for their sold-out event at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The group will return to Warrington on Thursday, March 28, almost exactly 10 years since they last performed here back in March 2009.

The following day they will travel to London for a Teenage Cancer Trust gig joining The Coral, who played Parr Hall last Saturday (16 March), and The Fernweh.

The band said: “On familiar territory, looking out to see the faces of friends old and new, Doves return to Warrington Parr Hall.

“This is where a page is turned and the new chapter begins.”

Tickets go on sale today,  Tuesday 19 March at 10am.
