WARRINGTON based commercial interior designers Standing Space are celebrating the part that they have played in the transformation of Bank Quay House into The Outset.

Owners Equinox Properties purchased the office building in central Warrington late in 2017 that immediately set upon a programme of modernisation and upgrade. The entire 2020sq ft ground floor reception and café area has been completely remodelled into a contemporary facility comprising co-working space, meeting and telephone pods, new reception and Café at The Outset.

Jessica Standing, Interior Designer and Peter Standing, Architect founders of Standing Space, were commissioned by Equinox Properties to design the space, working alongside Sheila Bird Group on the project.

Jessica said: ‘’The project was a team collaboration and evolution into the fabulous space that it is now. It adds a whole new feel to the building. It feels exciting, fresh and energetic. A great place to work, meet, eat and enjoy a brew’’.

We have worked all over the country on various commercial commissions over the years and it is great to finally work on an office building in Warrington’.

Standing Space has also worked on the creation of kitchen tea points and complete refurbs of all of the toilet facilities and communal areas.

The ground floor co-working space is designed to be flexible, comfortable and suit the needs of the modern freelancer and small business. It will be possible to take space by the day, week or month starting from only £10 a day, advancing to £40 a week or £150 a month. Serviced offices start from £180 per desk and leased space is also available.

Daniel Jebreel Managing Director, Equinox Properties said: ‘’Our aim was to create a beautifully designed scheme with its own unique personality – for the use of both our tenants and the public. We feel that we have created an environment that will engender the creation of a business community in the building, with Café at the Outset at its hub. We are confident based on the feedback so far that the scheme we have created will really help to encourage the productivity and work satisfaction of our occupiers.’’

The official launch of The Outset will be at 12.30 on March 22 when local MP Faisal Rashid will cut a ribbon.

Anyone interested in the co working space, offices, or just wants to sample the cafe and have a look round is welcome to attend the opening. Contact Siobhan Smith by calling 07925 558454 or emailing Siobhan@AtTheOutset.co.uk

The Outset is located in central Warrington only a short walk from both Warrington Bank Quay Station and Warrington Central Station as well as from the main bus interchange. There are car parks at even shorter walking distances away. The building looks out across to Warrington’s beautiful Bank Park and Town Hall.
