Fallen tree closes road near town centre

POLICE at Warrington are warning motorists to keep away from a busy road near the town centre after a tree was toppled by high winds.
Grammar School Road, Latchford is closed in both directions and traffic is piling up in the immediate area.
Council workmen are busy attempting to remove the fallen tree.
High winds are affecting numerous parts of the borough and surroundng areas.
