Two men arrested after crossbow seized by police

A STOP-check on a suspicious vehicle at Warrington resulted in police recovering a cross bow.
The vehicle was stopped in Hawleys Lane during the night and two men were arrested on allegations of possessing the crossbow – an offensive weapon – and also a number of drugs offences.
They spent the rest of the night in custody.
