Get gardening with TV experts

TV’s gardening experts Adam Frost and David Domoney will host a number of events at Bents Garden & Home centre this spring.

The popular Get Gardening Weekend will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March.

Adam will be at Bents on Saturday 23rd hosting a number of events between 10am and 4pm including a Q&A session (10am – 11am), Planted Container Fun (11.30am – 12.30pm) and Top Gardening Tips (2pm – 3pm).

The BBC Gardeners’ World presenter will introduce a little competitive fun during his Planted Container workshop when he will invite members of the audience to roll up their sleeves and compete for the opportunity to join Adam for lunch in the Fresh Approach Restaurant.

Customers visiting Bents on Sunday will have the opportunity to meet This Morning’s resident gardener, David Domoney, who will be at the Centre between 10am – 4pm.  David will be sharing his Top Tips for Organic Gardening (10am – 11am), presenting a Houseplants Workshop (11.30 am – 12.30pm) and talking about the benefits of Sensory Gardening (2pm – 3pm).

David will also be hosting a winner’s lunch with five tickets available via Bents facebook competition, which can be entered online before 5pm on Wednesday 20th March. https://www.facebook.com/bentsgardenhome/

The Get Gardening Weekend will feature a host of early season offers and be inspired* members will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win two VIP tickets to this year’s Southport Flower Show, including entrance to the show and an overnight stay in the four star Bliss Hotel in Southport.

Children can get involved with free flower pot painting activities, a special spring themed treasure hunt and Bents’ indoor beach and outdoor play area will ensure the little ones are busy.

Bents’ own team of horticultural experts will also be on hand throughout the weekend to share their knowledge of plants and suggest unique garden design solutions which will transform any outdoor living space.
