Music –Charlie Landsborough

Country music legend Charlie Landsborough will call at Parr Hall in May on an extensive farewell tour. Known as the UK’s premier country music singer, Charlie plans to hang up his guitar, and retire from touring to concentrate on writing and recording music. The musician’s live shows transcend country music and encompass beautiful ballads, folk, blues, rock n roll, pop, gospel and anthems, going some way to explaining his popularity.

Music – An Evening with Alan McGee

Music mogul Alan McGee will be sharing stories about discovering Oasis and working with bands like Primal Scream when he visits Pyramid this May. The Scottish businessman and music industry executive has been a record label owner, musician, manager and music blogger for The Guardian. He is best known for co-founding and running the independent Creation Records label and is the man who discovered and signed Oasis.

Variety – An Audience with Mark Billy Billingham

Former SAS Sergeant Major and bodyguard to the stars Mark Billy Billingham is TV’s most experienced, highest-ranking and most decorated SAS leader and sniper. Literature – John Cooper Clarke

Exhibition – Peace at Last

Until 4 May 2019

Peace at Last is the final instalment in a series of exhibitions to commemorate the First World War.  Visitors will discover what life was like for soldiers returning home from the horrors of war and how life for Warrington’s inhabitants changed forever. The exhibition will include research collected by local history groups.

Crafternoons!

Saturdays 1pm – 3pm

Get messy with free craft activities for children at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. Crafternoons take place between 1pm and 3pm every Saturday and have a new and exciting theme every single week. Last admission is 2.45pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult, recommended age 3yrs+. Booking is not required. Visit the museum’s social media pages to see some of the fun things we’ve made recently.
