Hotel evacuated after laundry blaze

A FULL evacuation of the Daresbury Park Hotel, near Warrington, took place last night after fire broke out in a laundry room.
The blaze involved a commercial washing machine on the ground floor.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. A ventilation unit was then used to clear smoke from the premises.
Crews from Warrington and Lymm were involved in the operation which last for an hour and 40 minutes.
No-one was reported injured
