Tony Smith and Matt King take trip down memory lane at Halliwell Jones

FORMER Warrington Wolves’ boss Tony Smith and Aussie ace Matt King took a trip down memory lane when they returned to the Halliwell Jones Stadium as part of a training session with Sydney Roosters ahead of their World Club Challenge match against Wigan Warriors tonight.

The Australian NRL champions held a training session at The Halliwell Jones Stadium watched by hundreds of Warrington fans, posing for pictures and signing autographs.

Watching on were Warrington’s former Head Coach Tony Smith and former Aussie ace Matt King as the Roosters were put through their paces ahead of their World Club Challenge with Wigan Warriors.

King who is on the coaching staff at the Roosters said: “It’s nice to be back in Warrington and is just like coming home.”
