A CHANCE to learn how to make bird and bat boxes will come for youngsters at the Sandy Lane Centre, Stockton Heath on Thursday, February 21 between 11am and 2pm.
The event has been organised by Stockton Heath Parish Council and the borough council’s Neighbourhoods in Warrington team.
Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
It is hoped the finished boxes can be used at local beauty spot Ackers Pit or the Mill Lane playing field, Stockton Heath.
A parish council spokesperson said: “You can drop in at any time between 11am and 2pm and it will take about an hour to complete a box.
“All are welcome to attend, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The event will involve the use of hammers and nails so very small children must be supervised at all time by their accompanying adult.
More details can be obtained from [email protected] or telephone 01925 210558.
There is no charge for attending the event.
