Man alleged to have stolen £600 goods from store

A MAN is in custody after being arrested for allegedly stealing goods worth more than £600 from a superstore at Warrington – on two successive days.
He is alleged to have pushed the property out of te Tesco store in Winwick Road in a trolley on Thursday and again on Friday.
He is also alleged to have been in possession of an offensive weapon after officers saw him trying to hide a screwdriver under a table just before he was arrested
