BIRCHWOOD High School’s brand new 3G sports pitch will be up and running immediately after the February half-term.
The school plans to make the most of the state-of-the-art facility for the whole community.
It will be available to rent in the evenings and at weekends and the school will be using it for PE lessons, as part of their extra-curricular timetable.
In addition, the school’s partner clubs – Birchwood Juniors FC and Woolston Rovers FC will have new homes for training and match days.
