Motor cyclist rushed to hospital after crash with lorry

A MOTOR cyclist was rushed to hospital this morning after being involved in a collision with a heavy lorry at Warrington.
He was left trapped beneath the lorry and firefighters were called to the scene in Kingsland Grange, Woolston to release him.
Fire engines from Lymm and Birchwood and a major rescue unit from Winsford were involved in the operation just before 6am.
After the motor cyclist was released he was handed over to paramedics and later taken to hospital in Liverpool.
Fire and rescue crews were at the scene for 30 minutes.
The extent of the casualty’s  injuries is not yet known.
