Students rewarded for hard work and preparation

STUDENTS at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School, Warrington have received the results of exams they took before Christmas – and many were excellent.
The Pre-Public Exams (PPE) – formerly known as “Mocks” – were held in December and the excellent results were testimony to the hard work and preparation many students had put in.
For some students results have given a sharper focus and a sense of urgency about how much work and exam preparation needs to take place from now.
Senior assistant headteacher James Koltan said: “The next set of Pre-Public Exams take place on Monday March 4- Friday March 15.
“This is an opportunity for students to measure the progress they have made from the hard work they have done and will be putting in since December. This is the last time students will be sitting practice exams before the real GCSEs in the summer.
“Time is of the essence. There  are only 65 schools days left until the first GCSE written exams start. Keep working hard Year 11!”
