Bootcamps for people aiming to get “Fit to Tackle”

A NEW series of bootcamps for Warrington people aiming to get “Fit to Tackle” has started.
The 12-week LiveWire course at the Halliwell Jones Stadium consists of three exercise sessions a week, as well as other sessions aimed at improving mental health and wellbeing, such as nutrition advice and a talk from mental health charity State of Mind.
Sessions are led by LiveWire’s Fit To Tackle coaches and volunteer mentors – many of who have completed previous Fit To Tackle courses themselves.
Tom Kearney, lifestyles advisor at LiveWire and Fit To Tackle coach, said: “It was great to welcome the new intake of participants to the programme. Looking forward to 12 tough – but enjoyable – weeks, helping everyone taking part lose weight, get fitter and feel better mentally and physically.”
