A WARRINGTON town centre nursery has been judged “outstanding” by education watchdog Ofsted.
Kids Planet, in Legh Street, repeated the success story of five years ago when it was last inspected.
Nursery manager Katie Lee said: “It’s a reflection of the care and dedication of the whole team that we’ve achieved Outstanding in all areas for the second time running.  It’s a fabulous town centre nursery with wonderful facilities, and we’re so proud of all the staff, parents and children”.
In her report, Ofsted inspector Lindsey Wallwork-Jones said: ‘The management team is inspirational in their pursuit of providing the highest-quality care and education for children.
‘Parents are extremely complimentary about the advice, guidance and support they receive to help them and effectively support their children’s learning at home.
‘Support for children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities is outstanding…the identification, and implementation of timely interventions enable children to achieve their best potential”
She added that the nursery should continue to broaden the already extremely high-quality range of outdoor learning experiences for those children who prefer to learn outdoors.
Kids Planet Warrington is based in a converted 19th-century chapel only two minutes’ walk from Warrington town centre. It is open Monday to Friday, 7am till 7pm, 52 weeks of the year.
The nursery offers funded childcare places available for 2,3 and 4-year olds.
