FOLLOWING on from the success of their first Open House in Warrington, attended by over 120 delegates, Opus is putting on another event this Thursday (Jan 10) on video production.

Cannes’ award winners, Maker Projects will be running an interactive session covering the do’s and don’ts of video production.

It’s a must-attend workshop for entrepreneurs or marketing and agency team members involved in commissioning or producing video for the web, social media or TV.

With doors opening at 4pm and beers provided, knocking-off early on the second Thursday back in the New Year comes with the excuse that you’ll learn valuable lessons straight out of MediaCity.

Carpe Diem, who run Opus – the new digital co-working space in Pyramid – will be hosting similar events throughout 2019.

Bill Carr, CE0, shared “Our intention is to bring great speakers and panelists for Opus members to benefit from but also to provide access for the wider creative and technology community. That’s why we’ve made this event only £10 a ticket and free for Warrington Business Exchange members.

“We want Opus to become a destination for all innovators and disruptors in the tech space but also a bridge between STEM agendas and the creative arts – from students to start ups, local businesses to global vendors.

“Our last event had fabulous speakers – Ian Carroll of Solutioneers, Dr. Amy McKee of HooAreYoo and Gareth Boldsworth of Creative Hut. They had us scratching our heads, laughing out loud and even building Lego. So we’ve set a bar now we hope to surpass with each new Open House; hence, Thea and Luke from Maker with their international reputation.”
