POLICE have confirmed a body found in North Wales to be missing Lymm man John Hawkins.
The discovery was made in the Bylchau area of the Llansannan village in north Wales on the afternoon of Wednesday 2 January.
Sadly it has since been confirmed that the body is that of 51-year-old John Hawkins, who went missing from his home in Lymm in the early hours of Wednesday 12 December. His vehicle was later discovered burned out in North Wales.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.
