Police kept busy over Christmas

WARRINGTON Police were kept busy over the Christmas period including arresting a man at Fairfield and Howley during the early hours of today, (Boxing Day) for allegedly threatening his partner with a knife.

The incident occurred at 0540 when the male was taken into custody accused of domestic affray against his partner.

Meanwhile at 1535 hours on Christmas Day officers responded to reports of an road traffic collision on Golborne Road. A woman arrested for alleged Drink Driving after providing a breath sample of 126 at the roadside – nearly three-and-half times the legal limit.

Then at 1705 hours, a male was arrested in the Bewsey area for an alleged assault on his partner and resisting arrest.

At 1825 hours, a woman was arrested in the Latchford area for an alleged Domestic Assault.

Then at 2010 hours, officers responded to reports of an assault in the Lymm area. A female was also arrested for allegedly interfering with the arrest. A male who had been arrested then made his mark in custody for allegedly assaulting a police officer and two custody sergeants.

Finally last night at 0225 hours, officers arrested a female for alleged Drunk & Disorderly behaviour in the street outside an address in the Fairfield and Howley area.
