Man arrested after making threats to kill cinema manager with shotgun

A man was arrested at the Odeon cinema at Westbrook, Warrington, last night (Saturday) for an allegation of making Threats to Kill against staff.

Following an altercation it is alleged that the male threatened to return to the cinema with a shotgun and shoot the manager.

The male was arrested by police and taken into custody.

He has since been released on conditional bail to appear at court in January.

Earlier in the evening a woman was arrested on Dial Street, Warrington, after being spotted by CCTV operatives lying in the street. She was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
