ARSONISTS struck for the second night in succession in Padgate Lane, Warrington.
A wheelie bin was torched at around 3.20 am and a fire crew were called to the scene to extinguish the blaze using a hose reel jet. The operation took about half-an-hour.

In another incident, firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Venns Road, Orford.
The fire, involving an electrical socket, was out on arrival. The crew isolated the electrical supply and used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property. They were at the scene for about 45 minutes.
