Raiders break into supermarket at 3am

POLICE were called to a supermarket at Culcheth near Warrington early today after reports of a break-in.
They discovered a burglary had taken place at around 3am at Sainsbury’s on Common Lane in Warrington.
The store had been broken into and a substantial amount of cigarettes and alcohol stolen.

The store was unable to open at the usual time of 8am but is expected to open later this morning.

Two similar raids have taken place at Sainsbury’s in Lymm in recent weeks.
