Woman arrested after assaulting and racially abusing police

A woman has been arrested outside Warrington’s Central Station today for an allegation of assaulting and racially abusing police.

Officers arrested the woman after she was allegedly threatening passers by.

It is alleged she then assaulted two police officers and racially abused another.

She is currently in custody.
