REHEARSALS are going well – and so are ticket sales – for Warrington Male Voice Choir’s annual Christmas Voices Christmas Brass concert, which this year is on Saturday December 22 at the Parr Hall, Warrington.
With just under a month to go, more than 600 tickets have been sold for what is always spoken of by members of the audience as “a great pre-Christmas night out”. And with this year’s concert being staged just a few days before Christmas, the atmosphere is expected to be even more festive.
Starting at 7.30pm, the evening will feature Warrington Male Voice Choir, one of the country’s great male voice choirs and also feature their great friends Leyland Band, one of the world’s top brass bands, not to mention an audience Christmas carol sing-along.
As in previous years, and as well as bringing along their tickets, the audience are being encouraged to get in the mood and “dress for Christmas”.
