Police seek man after station staff threatened

BRITISH Transport Police have today  issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to following an incident at Birchwood station, Warrington.
Railway staff were threatened and abused during the incident.
A spokesman said at about 8.45 am on Sunday, a man attempted to purchase a child ticket from staff, despite looking much older.
Staff refused, saying he would need to purchase an adult ticket. The man left and a short while later returned with another, older man who became verbally abusive to the member of staff.
He threatened the staff member with violence, shouting directly in their face.
Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate the incident.
