Woman trapped following two vehicle collision on Delph Lane Winwick

A woman had to be cut free from her vehicle following a two vehicle collision on Delph Lane, Winwick, Warrington, this morning.

Firefighters were called to a report of a collision involving two cars on Delph Lane at 9.50am

On arrival crews discovered that a woman was trapped in one of the vehicles.

They used specialist equipment to free the casualty from the vehicle and handed her over to the care of paramedics.

Firefighters also made sure that the vehicles were safe and were in attendance for around an hour.
