FDR Law has become the first law firm based in the town to achieve a ranking in the Legal 500 table for leading Commercial Property lawyers released recently.

In a real boost to the significance of Warrington as a major player in the North-West economy, the Real Estate team at FDR held off competition from across the region to secure the ranking.

Rankings are determined following a thorough independent process, with the researchers at Legal 500 adding the following recommendation:

“The ‘excellent’ team at FDR Law acts for commercial and residential developers, retail and leisure operators, corporate occupiers and investors, and is also regularly instructed by public sector clients and is experienced in education sector matters.

“It advised Network Space on the £41.2m sale of a property portfolio, which included 18 industrial sites across the North of England, to Threadneedle Pensions. Langtree Property Partners and Daresbury SIC are also clients. Stephen Woodall heads the team, which features the ‘brilliant’ Kirsty Tinsley-Fenney and John King.”

Since the rankings were compiled the team have recently been commended for further work they have done in supporting Network Space with the sale to InfraRed Capital Partners of 25 industrial sites across the North of England in a deal worth £93 million.

Richard Ainscough, Chief Executive of Network Space commented “FDR have just done another excellent job advising on the sale of a further 25 industrial estates and the ongoing management of them.”
