AWARD winning national charity: MacIntyre, which provides learning, support and care for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities is celebrating 30 years in Warrington.
Area manager Andrea Parr said: “Thanks to everyone who helped us to celebrate. A special mention to Marge who 30 years ago, had the passion, determination and vision to succeed in introducing MacIntyre to Warrington.
“We are extremely fortunate to support some amazing and talented people in Warrington as well as having so many inspirational staff who go the extra mile.”
Since arriving in town, MacIntyre has grown considerably. It has continued to provide the support to local people with learning disabilities through Registered Care and Supported Living accommodation but also through various projects including the Shared Lives scheme, Warrington Memory Café and the New Routes project based in Victoria Park.
