Santa will make an early visit to Appleton

SANTA will be making an early visit to Appleton Parish Hall –just after the Christmas Tree lights are switched on.

He will have a small gift for the first 50 children to arrive to meet him.

The date for your diary is Saturday, December 1 and the lights will be switched on at 4.30pm. There will be community singing, led by AIM Independent Methodist Church and refreshments, donated by the Co-op will be available.

Appleton Parish Council chairman Cllr Sharon Harris said: “The aim is to bring our friends and neighbours in the different parts of Appleton together during the festive season.

“This is the first time the parish council has organised such a community event at Christmas and we do hope you will be able to join us to make it successful.

“We hope it will become an annual event.”
