Pop-up youth cafe for Lymm

A POP-UP Lymm Youth Café will open in the village tonight (Friday) – and could become a regular event if it proves popular with local youngsters.
LiveWire are trialing the initiative in the Sanctuary Café between Lymm United Reformed Church and Lymm Library.
The event is described as a space for the teens of Lymm to chill and relax, a place to hang out, chat, have a brew, listen to some music.
Cllr Graham Gowland (pictured), of Lymm Parish Council, said: “We hope the kids will tell us what they would like it to be. A parent-free zone where local kids will be welcome.”
It’s a space for the kids to tell us what they want it to be. Most of all, it’s a place you’re welcome.
“If the kids tell us what they want we will make it work.”
The youth café will open at 6.30pm and stay open until 9.30pm.
