THE annual Christmas Fayre at St Wilfrid’s Church, Grappenhall takes place on Saturday, December 1 – with a guarantee of snow.
A snow machine will make sure there will be a “white Christmas” for the event.
Last year, more than1,000 guests attended the event and this year organisers aim to make the show bigger and better
There will be a host of craft stalls, free activities for children and the grand Teddy Tombola
Children will be able to meet Father Christmas while parents sip mulled wine and enjoy a selection of festive foods and treats while being serenaded by Scottish bagpipes.
At 5pm people can join in carol singing around the iconic St Wilfrid’s Christmas tree with the church’s children’s choir.
There will also be a grand draw with a first prize of £350 and numerous other prizes including a round of golf at Warrington Golf Club and a meal for two at the Parr Arms, next door to the church.
Children are admitted free and there is a £2 admission fee for adults.
